Wright netted twice in the space of three second-half minutes against Millwall to seal Coventry a 2-1 win, with Mark Robins’ side responding positively to falling behind early on. His first of the game came from the spot, after beating O’Hare in a classic hand game.

Robins was able to see the funny side of the surprising interaction between Wright and O’Hare, with Coventry’s boss telling afterwards: “I think there was a bit of ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ between him and Callum – I’m going to kill them! I hadn’t named a penalty taker but Haji took them all the time in Turkey. He took them all the time and was really good, so I didn’t have an issue with it. Callum scored the last one. Ultimately, it’s gone in the back of the net and we don’t have to worry about that. I’ll be talking to them about it.”
