Kiran Adhav was the mostsuccessful bowler with five for 77.Rest of India had to get 222 runs for victory. But after the openingpair put on 29, they lost three wickets at that score and neverrecovered. At lunch, Rest of India were 68 for five and though skipperKashinath Khadkikar put up some fight with a defiant 30 off 75 ballswith five hits to the ropes, it was pretty much a hopeless task as thewickets fell steadily. Nitin Aggarwal (4 for 41) and Amit Mishra (4for 50) caused almost all the damage.
