Over the past few years, Arsenal have already introduced some renovations, including new exterior artwork around the stadium. However, co-chairman Josh Kroenke previously acknowledged in an interview with that internal discussions about a more significant transformation have been ongoing. These conversations remain in the early stages, with the club assessing the feasibility of further developments.

According to the Gunners have closely observed Real Madrid’s multi-year renovation of the Bernabeu and are keeping it as a reference project. Madrid first announced the ambitious stadium overhaul in 2019, and the state-of-the-art revamp was officially completed last year, bringing the Bernabeu into the modern era with cutting-edge technology and infrastructure. The new Bernabeu boasts a retractable roof, 360-degree screens, and improved fan amenities, which has led the Arsenal leadership to see Madrid’s success as a valuable case study for their plans.
